cox family fun

you know when you meet someone and you just immediately know you'd love to hang out with them? that's the feeling i got with the entire (extended) cox family. the adults we funny and outgoing, and the kids, well-behaved and cooperative. currently living in illinois, it was their first time visiting pass christian. they rented a beautiful house on the beach and we had their session right in their picturesque front yard amongst beautiful oak trees and on soft sand. it was a photographer's dream with fun people, adorable kids, and perfect lighting - what more could i ask for?!

all because two people fell in love.....

when ashley asked me to do their engagement shoot, i was thrilled. when she said she had a pair of french vintage bikes she wanted to incorporate, i was ECSTATIC. they are huge bike fanatics (it was her who really got me into biking!) and the theme was just perfect for them. the locale was at the national seashore in ocean springs, ms and it couldn't have been more picturesque. i am so excited to see what they have in store for their wedding on 10.24.15!!!!

i love spring in southern mississippi. wide open spaces caused by hurricane katrina now give us lush green fields of beautiful, bright wildflowers. the martinez family is one of my faves to photograph. their beautiful boys are always full of joy and energy! i hope you enjoy this fun spring session as much as i did!

over labor day weekend, i had the pleasure of photographing one of my best friends expecting a little girl in december. it was such a joy to capture her gorgeous glow with her wonderful (and most helpful) husband. here are some of my favorites...

rich family session {part 1}

well i don't like to be biased, but this was one of my favorite shoots ever. the lighting was perfect, the location was perfect, the weather was perfect, and the kids were, yep you guessed it, perfect. 3 kids under age 4 for an hour session and not ONE tear was shed. i had so much fun with this beautiful family of five. they then did another session the next day and did great as well! enjoy this rustic shoot and stay tuned for round 2 on the beach!
